LATEST ACTION AS IT HAPPENS (ALL TIMES BST)
Lap 25: Orange Honda are waving flags from around the world - Pedrosa is on his way to a comfortable victory. I wonder what Jorge Lorenzo're thinking at this moment .... But Rossi's fans are celebrating their second as if he has won.
1. Pedrosa 2. Rossi 3. Stoner.
James Toseland and is facing a late charge by Chris Vermeulen right to the death to remain in sixth place. The most exciting race of the season so far? I think so. Pedrosa was a class apart, but the real drama is elsewhere.
Lap 22: Start celebrating on the train Anon, Rossi switched to second - right at the end of the line, the time of his break to perfection as he sneak up within the Australian and secondly.
Lap 21: Rossi remains right on the tail of Stoner. Even to get up from ninth to third party would be incredible, but to make it second would be the material of legend.
Lap 20: Is it a good thing or a bad thing for Toseland by Hayden? Possibly the last, as the americas has declined in eight back with Toseland rising in sixth place. Great things.
Lap 19: Toseland is doing its best to put pressure on Hayden to hidden even in sixth place. That would give him a lift before entering two tracks he knows well, Assen and Donington. No change to the front, anon.
"I just left the house to catch trains home. Awsome me pls Rossi is published in the gap!"

I'll do what we can. Pedrosa is quite clear from around the world, so unless accidents, the first place is sorted. You could throw a handkerchief on Stoner and Rossi in the battle for second place, anon.
Lap 17: As they approach each corner, Rossi can sense an idea of the angles and try to find the time and place to jump on Stoner. Of course, is only a matter of time before he has a pass.
Lap 16: Gotcha! Law, and to go through the starting line, Stoner hares past Rossi into second place. Who cares about the winner when the race for second is much more entertaining!
Lap 15: Dani Pedrosa will be home before the HOS and second place in cycling at this rate, and when Stoner was doing his best to make sure that the runner would be him, but Rossi is having none of this and holding on grim death. Things very entertaining.
Lap 14: The former Superbike champion Toseland and Vermeulen are having a great old battle for seventh place.
"He never seen this before, is that I get sick. They are so courageous, Rossi and talk about the risks - amazing."

Lap 11: Alex de Angelis is off the track - on his bike, doing no harm, but it's gone from 10, and Loris Capirossi ha ido too. They were 10 and 11, were outside camera so that nobody is too sure what happened, but none of them is injured. So James Toseland put up in ninth.
And Randy de Puniet hangs from sixth. You can not complain this is not an animated career!
Pedrosa was seven seconds clear of the field - I wrote nearly seven minutes. Freudian slider.
Lap 7: Nightmare for Stoner - is too broad and allowed to Dovizioso in the second. A major faux pas as Australian, and an absolute gift for the Italian.
Stoner soon make amendment to return secondly, just to make Rossi overcomes many as two corners and go up in second - che spectaccolo, as the Doctor would say (sorry for my bad spelling GCSE Italian).
Round 6: Pedrosa is 4344 seconds ahead of Stoner.
"He's put a postcode between him and Stoner."
BBC Sport's Charlie Cox to Dani Pedrosa at the head
Lap 5: Rossi has already made up three places to move up to sixth, so do not bet against him having a say in what is happening in front of the field later. Wait, who has spent just Puniet in fifth.
Round 3: Two new records for the return of Dani Pedrosa, Nicky Hayden improvement of two years to record two consecutive laps. The new best time of 1:42.358.
Just to make things worse for the Kentucky Kid, Valentino Rossi overcomes him at home and almost swap paint with him. Never rains but it pours.
Round 2: Rossi and until the seventh - was the fastest warming in this morning so whatever Gremlins were in the engine yesterday have been destroyed by the pipes.
Round 1: And we're off - and the first surprise is beating Dani Pedrosa pole starter Casey Stoner at the first corner. Sensational beginning of Dovisioso jumping up from seventh to third.
1300: Today is the attendance of 113,150. Wow.
1245: In his pre-race interview with Suzi Perry, Nicky Hayden of assessing their icy relationship with team-mate Dani Pedrosa is "no-go cup caking together." What beautiful image - but disappointing news for anyone hoping for a last minute snack in the first row of the grid.
1230: As many of you undoubtedly rather in Barcelona and not in front of their computers or television screens, spare a thought for those who are currently lining up outside the circuit - a major fuel prices Spanish blockade of truck drivers has caused huge queues on the roads to the venue.
1200: blue skies and sunshine in Barcelona as we get ready for another day of thrills and spills into the world of MotoGP - and spills is the keyword for this weekend, with a number of accidents in both MotoGP and the lower class races .
Jorge Lorenzo is the highest profile in the absence of the network after starting his fourth crash in as many race weekends cost him his chance to run in front of his home fans.
A real shame for the Yamaha rider, whose season was launched in this sensational start, but that seems to have come unstuck big time in recent weeks - taking into account how competitive the championship, that is, you have to think their chances of being champion this season may be fatally damaged by two successive weekends in white.
Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa are hardly surprises to the front of the grid, but not many people would have expected to see Nicky Hayden exists - or to see Valentino Rossi in ninth.
This weekend that bears his special livery Euro 2008 Italy - for the football team itself, hopefully his performance so far this weekend is not some kind of omen for theirs.
