Fiat extends title sponsorship of the factory Yamaha MotoGP team.Fiat will continue as a sponsor of the factory Yamaha MotoGP team for the next two seasons.
Fiat replaced the camel as title sponsor in 2007 and, after a difficult debut season, the colors of the Fiat took the riders' world championship glory with Valentino Rossi in 2008 - when Fiat Yamaha also managed the team Yamaha title and the constructors' crown.
"We are delighted to continue our partnership with Fiat for a further period of two years," said Lin Jarvis, managing director of Yamaha Motor Racing Sr. "It remains a very interesting mix for an Italian car manufacturer to become a member of a Japanese manufacturer of motorcycles in the world of motorcycle racing first round.
"After a difficult first season in 2007 we were really happy to win the triple crown this year the titles of Yamaha and Fiat.

Rossi and 2008 rookie of the year Jorge Lorenzo will continue to form the Fiat Yamaha Team rider in the series in 2009.
